No Violence and Black Lives Matter

No Violence stands in solidarity with the call to end police brutality and reform our nation’s police departments. The violence that we saw with Breonna Taylor and George Floyd is horrifying and must be condemned. We also stand in solidarity with the peaceful protests that have popped up in our nation in these past few months; at the same time, it goes against our purpose to say that we condone the violence that has cropped up in many of our cities in outrage to these senseless killings. We are outraged too, but we cannot resort and let these angry feelings allow us to harm the messages of Black Lives Matter and the end of police violence to the innocent in this country. In my own city of Waynesboro, I participated in a couple of peaceful marches through downtown showing that we will not let our police officers kill our African American brothers and sisters.

We hope everyone is safe during Covid-19. Thanks. Jack
