My father and I made the journey over the blue ridge mountains to Charlottesville to hear professors Nadine Strossen and Arjun Sethi speak about their views to fight against and irradicate hate speech. They both had very interesting yet contradictory opinions on the topic. The difficulty of having free speech while irradicating hate is something that is important to NoViolence. We believe it is important to be able to have free speech but to try to do it in a peaceful way. Both of the speakers did a good job making interesting points.
